Have you ever noticed that people that think you can lose (((true))) salvation, never lose it themselves?

Have you ever noticed that people that think you can lose (((true))) salvation, never lose it themselves?

All those crying against OSAS are correct in how the majority of “professing” Christians just say a lil prayer and live like the devil. Easy believism. UNCONDITIONAL eternal security. (((There are MANY conditions))). The Bible says many are called, but FEW are chosen. Many will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Few there be that find it. (eternal life)…. But what they usually fail to do is give the flip side of the coin so to speak. I rarely see people explaining this properly. They go against so much scripture and they conveniently ignore verses that CLEARLY show God keeps his true saints. They don’t “LOSE” their salvation.

The sin of unbelief in eternal security

The Sin Of Unbelief In Eternal Security

Those who do not believe the promise of eternal life and yet claim to be Christians, then by necessity believe that they are saved both by their “faith” plus their works. They obviously need their own works to keep them “saved.” This is a heresy and the very thing that Paul condemned the Galatians for.
These people are showing that they have never experienced the salvation of God at all, for if they had, they would understand or possess spiritual discernment which only God can give in salvation, and believe the promise that when God places believers “in Christ” He offers them everlasting life. To deny this fact is to call God a liar. Here are a few of a multitude of verses these unbelievers cannot understand, the first of which Christ Himself promised believers.
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.”
(John 10:28-30)
And John stated the same thing.
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13)

Water Baptism, the final word

Water baptism

“Why Water Baptism is Not Required for Salvation”

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Romans 10:2-3 KJV – 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Galatians 6:14 KJV But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Water Baptism is for the Christian today but it is not required for salvation. Several groups say that water baptism is required for salvation. They base this off of a few verses and a wrong interpretation of those verses. Most live on Acts 2:38 KJV
We will look at this verse first.
Acts 2:38 KJV
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:41 KJV
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Peter’s audience “gladly received his word”—and by necessary inference believed in their hearts and put their trust in Jesus— before they were water baptized. Salvation thus comes at the point of receiving God’s word and taking it to heart.

The need of repentance

Repentance

Acts 20:26-27 KJV
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

James 2:24 KJV
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Repentance is a COMMAND, not a gift.

Acts 17:30 KJV
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:”

“How tragic it is when people think they do God a great service by coming to church and participating in the worship service without repenting of their sins!”

Look at the first word in the following verses:

“REPENT ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you” (Acts 3:19-20 KJV).

Repent—that little word may never be spoken from many pulpits; however, whether or not it is spoken, it is still required. Sin must be repented in order for healing to come.

Repent—“repent, metanoeo….: From meta, “after,” and noeo, “to think.”
Repentance is a decision that results in a change of mind, which in turn leads to a change of purpose and action.”
